The next exciting episode of The Lazy MMO Review. This time, myself and Blue take a crack at Aion and I manage to keep quiet about GameGuard. I actually had a whole bit about my hatred for the program, but it had too much swearing. Anyway! Regardless if you think Aion is just an Asian WoW clone (it’s really not), if you enjoy big open worlds and being able to fly (but NOT perform a 360 horizontal roll), or just need something fresh to play and have fun with, you might want to check out Aion.

    • This game looks similar to and seems to have the same combat system as World Of Warcraft, However the flying option seems interesting. flying on specified paths? In specific places? Or wherever the hell you want? Can someone please reply regarding the flight system? The graphics seem slightly more advanced, and the in-flight combat system is an interesting aspect. With the introduction of combos and less lag time, this reminds me of final fantasy and devil may cry. alltogether, it seems to be an interesting game despite the beta reviews.

    • There are certain areas where you can fly freely in the game, and there are also flight paths you can take to travel quickly between two points in certain areas where you can not fly freely.
