Find NCsoft Titles On Steam (FINALLY!)
Posted on April 22nd, 2009 No commentsWell it seems that today, of all days, is the day NCsoft finally joined the big leagues and is now offering their titles on Valve’s digital distribution service, Steam. Good for them! Now players may purchase the latest NCsoft franchises including Guild Wars, City of Heroes, and Linage
and Tabula Rasa. This also includes some special editions of the games, such as the Guild Wars Trilogy and City of Heroes Architect Edition, which is the first and only MMO to allow players to build their own unique missions and story arcs. Also, Aion will make an appearance on Steam once it is released this fall in North America and Europe. While this is awesome, what about players who already have these games installed? Oh well, at least I don’t have to use that piece of s*** Play NC launcher. I’m also still waiting to see NC announce a Tabula Rasa Resurrection Edition. *sigh* I can dream, can’t I? And yes, I am still sore over Tabula Rasa being closed down, but at least I have Global Agenda to look forward to!

Surviving The Wait, Left 4 Dead Survival Pack
Posted on April 21st, 2009 No commentsSo the big Left4Dead survival pack was released today, bringing with it 20 survival-ready maps from your favorite campaigns and a new map specifically made for survival mode, Lighthouse, and of course the new versus maps
and the SDK. So all is good, right? Valve is doing good stuff as always for their fanbase, but it seems not all is well, seeing as how 360 owners got their update at 5AM EST while the PC users are…still waiting. From what I remember reading, Valve said the PC version of the pack was ready, but they were waiting to finish the 360 version before they shipped it.So why the wait? I woke up around 3AM this morning, having gone to bed extremely early, and was surprised to notice it was the 21st, on which the L4D survival pack would be released. So I went looking for it, found out it’ll be released at 2AM for the 360 and the PC version would not be until, “sometime later in the day.”
What the F***?! Oh well, at least the pack is free, and it’ll fix a lot of problems and bugs with the smoker and boomer…right? RIGHT, VALVE?!

End of Weekend Notes, Not Really the End
Posted on January 18th, 2009 No commentsSo it’s Sunday, my mother and grandmother are in California visiting one of my uncles (from my mother’s side) who happens to have a terminal cancer. Sucks to hear, especially seeing as how I’m related and yet don’t know a whole lot about him, aside from the fact he’s a good guy. And on the other coast my great aunt (from my father’s side) is having kidney failure. So pretty much this week sucked, but hey, don’t let me get you down with my woes, check out some interesting articles I’ve read recently!
