Find NCsoft Titles On Steam (FINALLY!)
Posted on April 22nd, 2009 No commentsWell it seems that today, of all days, is the day NCsoft finally joined the big leagues and is now offering their titles on Valve’s digital distribution service, Steam. Good for them! Now players may purchase the latest NCsoft franchises including Guild Wars, City of Heroes, and Linage
and Tabula Rasa. This also includes some special editions of the games, such as the Guild Wars Trilogy and City of Heroes Architect Edition, which is the first and only MMO to allow players to build their own unique missions and story arcs. Also, Aion will make an appearance on Steam once it is released this fall in North America and Europe.While this is awesome, what about players who already have these games installed? Oh well, at least I don’t have to use that piece of s*** Play NC launcher. I’m also still waiting to see NC announce a Tabula Rasa Resurrection Edition. *sigh* I can dream, can’t I? And yes, I am still sore over Tabula Rasa being closed down, but at least I have Global Agenda to look forward to!

Tabula Rasa, The Final Transmission
Posted on March 1st, 2009 No commentsWell, it has been a little more than 5 months since it was announced Tabula Rasa would be closing down, and a little more than 3 months since it has gone Free-To-Play, but alas, all good things must come to an end. After a final invasion force large and powerful enough to decimate anyone or anything that got in its way, Tabula Rasa has closed its doors for good as of 12:01 AM, but it went with such flare and fanfare, and some lag, one cannot help but feel a little sad to see such a great Sci-Fi MMO simply die away. I know the ending was fun for me, aside from the lag spikes, of course, as I had the privilege to serve with the last, great clan in game, made up of new fans and old veterans, AFS Last Stand. It was an honor and great fun to squad up and enjoy the final moments of our exsistence in the game world of Tabula Rasa. A pity the developers couldn’t do more events as massive as this prior to the game’s closing, it could have saved them, a little…maybe. Who knows, maybe my hope for an awesome Sci-Fi MMO can be placed in better hands.
