Oh, hello there! I haven’t seen you an a while, how’s it been? Me? Well, work I don’t get paid for calls, and by work I mean Closed Beta MMO testing. You know, with all these MMOs soon to be in either closed or open beta, I got some pretty nifty ideas for a not-regularly-scheduled podcast (and GOD do I ever mean anything better than my previous attempt) that deal with the one thing I’m not as usually lazy with, you know, Beta testing!

Speaking of which, you know, the Champions Online CB is nearing the end as OB will be starting the 17th (Just one week away, w00t!), so maybe, just maybe, that could thing I was talking about last paragraph…maybe.

    Maybe.

Okay I’ll stop, in the meantime, to leave you all with fond memories of this lazy geek, I have proof that the current generation of children are not only going to hell, but will be going there in a handbasket, wearing these. God, should he exsist or not (depending on your religious preference, or not), help us.

And finally, as if Blizzard didn’t already have me on my knees begging for more, it’s been announced that StarCraft II has been pushed back to 2010.

  • End of Weekend Notes – Oct. 13, Starcraft 2 Broke My Heart

Hey, happy Monday, folks. I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend. As for me I’m just getting sick from too much sugar (damn candy corn). I know I’ve neglected posts of late, but, to be honest, I can’t seem to find anything that i have much to say about, and the Tokyo Game Show doesn’t do much for me, since I can’t go. *sad face* Aside from the random rantings I have every now and again. Oh, you should check out this interesting links, too. Of course, there is one thing I want to talk about.

    Starcraft 2.

It seems that, besides the big split of the game into three separate campaigns (or as Blizzard’s VP of Game Design Rob Pardo likes to call them, “expansions”), Blizzard took the time while fans were on the ground to kick them the face, just for good measure. Pardo explains, “With any luck, it would be like a year for each successive one, but that’s going to be a target date, that’s not a promise.”

That’s right. Not only will Starcraft 2 be released in 2009, but it’ll be at least one year to play the Zerg, and at least two years to play as the Protoss! My soul has been crushed, and I still stand by my earlier judgement about this trilogy business, but there is always Diablo 3, right? *sigh*

So that’s that, and there are some interesting articles I read over the weekend, check ‘em out!
