No, that’s not how that saying goes, but whatever. Basically, I have been MIA for the last 5-6 days because Verizon had some trouble on their end but they had to come out here to figure it out so I’m behind in, well, everything. Did I get anything important done without the internet? If you count being caught up on sleep, then yes. And that’s about it. I have to go see what all I missed, I hope it wasn’t much.
I’m back in the good ol’ more-safe-on-the-roads-than-Maryland Virginia and settled into this nifty apartment and now I can finally get back to doing what I do best. Procrastinating. But hey, at least I can get back to posting little snippets of opinions and news on the blog and websites are more likely to get finished, so it’s all good. In the meantime, James Cameron’s AVATAR comes out this Friday, and I’m kinda iffy but it’ll look spectacular, I’m sure. But if you know anything about me you’ll know I’m never sold on looks or action alone. This coming from a guy who played DOOM back when he was 4 years old on his father’s work machine at a whopping 0.5-1 FPS. Best days of my life.
Happy Turkey Day indeed, or rather, happy Black Friday’s Eve, because Thanksgiving is just the day before BF, for me anyway…and I guess being thankful for something, like Black Friday! But in all seriousness, I hope all 8 of you who read this enjoy the feast and family time (if you’re with family), unfortunately I’ll have to suffer through my old man burning or overcooking the turkey and/or stuffing, but it’s all in good…fun? Sure, why not. in other news, I’ll be back up to full ranting speed in the coming weeks when I get re-situated in a new place in VA. Fun times ahead with moving, for sure!
