The Lazy Move is Finished

I’m back in the good ol’ more-safe-on-the-roads-than-Maryland Virginia and settled into this nifty apartment and now I can finally get back to doing what I do best. Procrastinating. But hey, at least I can get back to posting little snippets of opinions and news on the blog and websites are more likely to get finished, so it’s all good. In the meantime, James Cameron’s AVATAR comes out this Friday, and I’m kinda iffy but it’ll look spectacular, I’m sure. But if you know anything about me you’ll know I’m never sold on looks or action alone. This coming from a guy who played DOOM back when he was 4 years old on his father’s work machine at a whopping 0.5-1 FPS. Best days of my life.

Happy Turkey Day!

Happy Turkey Day indeed, or rather, happy Black Friday’s Eve, because Thanksgiving is just the day before BF, for me anyway…and I guess being thankful for something, like Black Friday! But in all seriousness, I hope all 8 of you who read this enjoy the feast and family time (if you’re with family), unfortunately I’ll have to suffer through my old man burning or overcooking the turkey and/or stuffing, but it’s all in good…fun? Sure, why not. in other news, I’ll be back up to full ranting speed in the coming weeks when I get re-situated in a new place in VA. Fun times ahead with moving, for sure! So from one Lazy Geek to another, Happy Thanksgiving, and have fun on Black Friday and Cyber Monday!

Near-End Week Notes, I’m Sorta But Not Really Busy

Okay, so a quick little update about some stuff, so I can say I don’t doddle on my blog.

First, I’m back into Guild Wars for God-only-knows what reason, but whatever, I’m back and playing on a usual basis, or rather, would be playing on a regular basis if not for the Aion open beta, in which I am partaking, FINALLY!

Second, something NOT about gaming, I got a new mid-tower case for my mid-range PC, so I can not wait to move all the crap from one crappy case to a slighty bigger crappy case. Actually that’s not true, my current case only has one 80mm fan for cooling. That’s the kind of stuff that makes me cry at night in between wondering if it’ll blow up and/or start a fire. Hopefully this new case will provide more room (it does) and better cooling (does that too) so I’m happy, until I start to take everything out and put it back in.

Finally, and so we’re clear on this, I, Connor, The Lazy Geek (maybe the laziest) F***ING. HATE. GAMEGUARD. Here, let me bold that so we can all be on the same page. Ahhhh, much better. i’m glad I got that off my chest! Well, time to go play some more Aion, until the next post.

I’m Baaaaaack!

Well, after some time off, trying to figure out how to properly blog and get everything in line and such, I came to the startling conclusion that it’s best to really not get a frick! That’s right, say what you will, and while I might not ignore it, all the hate and BS everyone spews I will just laugh at and continue on to glory and laughter and fun. So, with it almost being Monday, I’ll get back to posting (hopefully) daily and we’ll see where it goes!
