A Month later…

Yeah, I kind of fell of the radar (for the most part) after my post, and there’s no really good excuse for it, but it happens sometimes, right? Anyway, let’s get back on track and talk about some stuff. First, PAX East in a week, and I’ll be going. Why? Because Guild Wars 2 will be there with a new build of the game! Oh, and some friends whom I talk to in the Guild Wars community are going too, so, I guess I’m going to see them and scare them. And i’ll also see if I can get some better video footage on my not-HD-camera.

What else…Oh! Kotaku and Gawker’s new blog layout is absolute crap! That’s an unexpected change that not many were pleased about. I still have my RSS feeds thankfully, but I do miss commenting, but not really.

Oh, back to Guild Wars, aparently the super-awesome-easy-mode update is coming out today that’ll contain ‘Embark Beach’ among other surprises, and I’ll be writing about it in between my rage fits about it! Come to think of it, it’s been a long while since an update hasn’t done something silly to make me upset, but I have a feeling that this next update will take the cake. Or pie, if that’s you’re preferred sweet-treat.

Uh, what else…Podcasts! I’ll do more of those, especially at PAXEast in a week, so that’s something to look forward to, right? Though I’m warning you now, the quality might not be as “top notch” as the last two, but it’ll pass.

Oh! And Rift. I’ve been playing Rift along with other GW souls who are waiting for Guild Wars 2 to be released and it’s quite fun and very polished for a newly-launched game. Is it a WoW-killer? No, but why does it have to be? Answer, it doesn’t. Now stop being silly.

so, that’s everything in a nutshell, I’ll get back to a schedule eventually, so stay-tuned all 15 of you!

3 Lazy Days of PAXEast

At the writing of this, I have only been home an hour, many thoughts and memories of the past three days still swimming in my head but, for being the first convention of my life, I might complain and I might gripe, but I had a blast, but let me get my regrets and quips out of the way really quick.

One, I am not only large, but I am heavy, and yes, I was sweating up storms and heaving half the time, but what killed me the most was my feet. Because of my puppies, I missed Nvidia’s show as well as the Protomen at the concert Friday night and an open bar. Maybe I should punish them with a warm bubble bath. Two, I have many regrets coming out from the fun and chaos of my first CON, the biggest being that I did not get the Protomen to sign anything. I saw them, I bought their two albums, and I went on my way like a random Joe who was just looking to spend money. This is right up there of my life’s regrets next to me missing a Billy Joel concert. Another regret I have is that I didn’t touch any games, aside from one or two, and I have no idea why. I guess I was just overwhelmed with everything and there may have been walking involved, and three, it was crowded. All the tickets were sold out and boy could I tell. Getting in-line for a panel an hour early so you would get in made it hard for me to pick and choose which panels I went to. Regardless, these are all minor(except the Protomen bits) because I had a great time and can not wait for next year, but enough about the bad parts, here’s the super-duper PAXEast post!

Oh! I Am At PAXEast!

Oh, hello there. It’s me again, Connor, your lazy-ass geek-minded blogger and friend.

I’m in my room typing this to tell you all that I will have a super-duper post come Monday that will tell you about my adventures and me losing my CON-ginity. It’ll be a treat for sure, this whole trip has been fun and interesting (despite my forth-coming bitch-fest :P ), here’s a small preview of what I mean. Image is 2 MB until I get back on my desktop and photoshop.
