In Defense of My Mad Skills


And let’s face it, I have very mad skills. Angry, skills, you could say. Border-line rage-inducing skills, even!

In yesterday’s ArenaNet blog post, Jon Peters went on to share with everyone the updates that would be present in the Gamescom and PAX Prime demo of Guild Wars 2. Some, we already heard about, such as character customization (which my entire demo time will be spent on come the weekend of PAX) and playable sylvari and asura! there are a few others note-worthy items, but, I’m not here to talk about that. ArenaNet and All of My Rage

I actually don’t hate ArenaNet, despite what certain articles may imply. I love them, to near-death. They managed to create a game that satiated a lot of my gaming needs, and I admit, I do disagree with some of their later updates to the 6-year old game, but it’s time to put that all behind us now because on the horizon is Guild Wars 2.

“But, Connor! Didn’t you write from 5 years in the future warning us about the follies of Guild Wars 2?” Well, yeah, but that was jumbled randomness mixed with irrational fears (except the alchemist bit, that’s still true…maybe). TalkTyria – The Future of Guild Wars 2 From The Future

Time travel is real, friends, and I received a message from…THE FUTURE. Here’s what I mean.

If you are reading this, then the scientists working with the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) have finally developed the ability to send small packets of information via a telepathic link back in time to any person. Sadly, no DeLorian is involved. It’s all very complicated, but you’ll have to take my word for it, but, I digress, for the information I bear concerns the future of Guild Wars 2!
