Intel Experiments with New Process to Fire Employees
Posted on December 17th, 2009 No commentsI’ve always said, if you’re going to fire your employees, do it in style. Intel seems to have taken this literally. Well literally in a fake sort of sense. There are employees being fired, but instead of from jobs and offices, from cannons. And it’s not as simple as that, but these are five people being fired from five cannons in order to recreate Intel’s famous tune. Here, just watch this video after the jump.

Free Stuff Makes Me Giggle
Posted on November 7th, 2008 No commentsAnd who doesn’t giggle when they get free stuff? Especially from a contest, because putting forth some amount of effort makes a victory all the more sweet. Recently, Guild Wars released their winners for their annual Halloween Art contest, in which participants are asked to create some spooky works of art that combine Halloween and their online MMO. Now, while I’m not really too gifted with the pencil and eraser, I am somewhat decent with photoshop and video editing, but regardless I decided to enter in hopes of winning swag.
So I entered with a simple movie poster-esque image based on an old zombie flick, I Walked with a Zombie. Yeah it’s not Romero, but it’s still a good movie I watched once, and so, I created…after the jump!

Atari Hero 2600: Play Atari 2600 Games Like a Rock Star
Posted on September 29th, 2008 No commentsFile this one under “Freaking Awesome”.
So over at SlipperyBrick.com, Connor Flyyn has modded an Atari 2600 and a Guitar Hero guitar controller together into an fusion of awesomeness.
“This is not my first console mod, but I think it’s the neatest. As far as I know it hasn’t been done before. I wanted to be able play Atari 2600 games like you play Guitar Hero… With a guitar,” Flyyn said.
I’m not old enough to have been around when the 2600 was out, but it’s gaming history, of which I can’t ignore, and who wouldn’t want to play a console using a guitar? Flyyn also discusses how he wanted to do the same, except instead of an Atari, a NES. Now the NES I remember, very well. Full article and pictures after the jump!
