End of Weekend Notes, Lazy Is But A Word
Posted on August 31st, 2009 No commentsAnd lazy is what I yam, and I yam what I yam. or something like that…anyway, while I’ve been out doing website things and other projects and being dragged back into Guild Wars kicking and screaming like a spoiled brat not wanting to go to the doctor’s office, I’ve been keeping an ear or three to the ground waiting for more news of Guild Wars 2 and other praise-worthy geeky-ness.
I read and watched some good Q&A with Anet Heads and designers about Guild Wars 2 which you can check out over at theGuild Wars 2 site which has everything from talking about underwater combat to new pvp systems to what was learned from the original Guild Wars. Still talking about GW2…
New concept art and two wallpapers have made there way to the public and to my harddrives
amiritewhich range from “Oh, that looks neat,” to “Oh, that looks bitchin’!” in terms of awesomeness. Check ‘em all out on the Guild Wars 2 site. Yeah I’m too lazy to link for you.Let’s see, what else to talk about, I guess I could bitch about Comcast sucking, but that’s too easy. Oh oh, Aion using GameGuard as their “hacker
free-for-allprevention” program instead of…anything else, but again, too easy. Well I’ll just leave it at that and wait to find something truly god-awful to complain about before…complaining…again. Or I’ll just post more GW2 news in hopes that ArenaNet will forgive me. -
End of Weekend Notes, Not Really the End
Posted on January 18th, 2009 No commentsSo it’s Sunday, my mother and grandmother are in California visiting one of my uncles (from my mother’s side) who happens to have a terminal cancer. Sucks to hear, especially seeing as how I’m related and yet don’t know a whole lot about him, aside from the fact he’s a good guy. And on the other coast my great aunt (from my father’s side) is having kidney failure. So pretty much this week sucked, but hey, don’t let me get you down with my woes, check out some interesting articles I’ve read recently!

End of Weekend Notes – Nov 10, Circuit City Bankrupts My Heart
Posted on November 10th, 2008 No commentsLengthy title.
Hi there! How’s it been? So it’s been a while since I did an “EoWN” post. So here it is! It’s the end of the weekend, and we’re all (well, not all, I know I’m not
) heading back to work or school for another five days, but in the back of our minds, we’re giddy, like little school girls, because it’s nearing, no not Christmas, but Black Friday! My personal favorite holiday, on which I never got off from school, is Black Friday. The sweet rush I get when I get up at three in the morning and travel the dark and empty roads leading to computer stores like CompUSA…wait they went out of business…well Circuit City…Oh, they filed for bankruptcy. Well damn…Here’s some interesting reads you may have missed over the weekend!

End of Weekend Notes – Oct. 13, Starcraft 2 Broke My Heart
Posted on October 13th, 2008 No commentsHey, happy Monday, folks. I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend. As for me I’m just getting sick from too much sugar (damn candy corn). I know I’ve neglected posts of late, but, to be honest, I can’t seem to find anything that i have much to say about, and the Tokyo Game Show doesn’t do much for me, since I can’t go. *sad face* Aside from the random rantings I have every now and again. Oh, you should check out this interesting links, too. Of course, there is one thing I want to talk about.
Starcraft 2.
It seems that, besides the big split of the game into three separate campaigns (or as Blizzard’s VP of Game Design Rob Pardo likes to call them, “expansions”), Blizzard took the time while fans were on the ground to kick them the face, just for good measure. Pardo explains, “With any luck, it would be like a year for each successive one, but that’s going to be a target date, that’s not a promise.”
That’s right. Not only will Starcraft 2 be released in 2009, but it’ll be at least one year to play the Zerg, and at least two years to play as the Protoss! My soul has been crushed, and I still stand by my earlier judgement about this trilogy business, but there is always Diablo 3, right? *sigh*
So that’s that, and there are some interesting articles I read over the weekend, check ‘em out!

End of Weekend Notes – Oct. 06
Posted on October 6th, 2008 No commentsYeah, I took the weekend off, caught up with some not-really-work-but-still-work-related stuff, played some KotOR. Did things here and there, nothing fabulous or awesome, but I’ll get back to work, as it seems to be Monday, but I did look at some interesting articles. Check em out.
