It’s that time of year again when the autumn wind blows and a bunch of stuff happens. Most notably, of course, is Pink Day in LA and Extra Life, two charity events I have taken part in over the last few years and this year is no exception. Except that I won’t be streaming either event because the new PC I was supposed to have specifically for both events has decided it would make October a miserable experience, but I can complain about that later.
In 24 hours, the 6-hour event to raise awareness and donations for the Breast Cancer Society, aka, Pink Day in LA, will kick off and this year will be the first time in Guild Wars 2. GW-EN is hoping for a huge turnout from new and old players as well as testing the waters of the still-new game released by ArenaNet. There are some interesting and fun events planned and there will still even be support for players in Guild Wars 1 in hopes that no one will miss the chance to come and hang out in-game.
