Nintendo’s Keynote from GDC ’09

I know I would post soon, but, I’m just having a tough time deciding what I want to post about. Well, let’s put that behind us and see what I have to whine about today. GDC started on the 23rd, which was nice, but I’ve been waiting for Nintendo’s keynote, which was nice. Aside from telling how many DS and Wii units they’ve sold, Nintendo talked about a Wii firmware update (which is already up and you can download) added support to play from SDHC cards up to a size of 32GB. Awesome! More after the hop.

Also at Nintendo’s keynote was the trailer for the tentatively titled The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, for the Nintendo DS. I’ll just let the trailer speak for itself.

I’ve mixed feelings about this. While the lack of ocean is nice for a change, I’m skeptical about the whole…train…thing. But don’t get me wrong, I had mix feelings about Phantom Hourglass as well, I guess I was just wanting something, I dunno, new…
