New Guild Wars 2 Trailer Shuts Me Up, Finally

Forgive me, ArenaNet, I have doubted you! I am not worthy, I am not worthy!

*ahem*

No, first you watch the trailer! It’s right here. Just sit, press play, and hold on to your socks, because this trailer will knock them off…straight into your face!

So, there it is, the gorgeous trailer that finally shows off a little more of what Anet has been working on while I was making comments such as “Guild Wars 2 will soon fall into a “Duke Nukem coma”, while the original Guild Wars withers away in a painful death that has been shared by Tabula Rasa and Auto Assault.” (Wow I actually said that, what the hell was I thinking?) BUT no more, as with this trailer, I can finally cry and let it all out now that ArenaNet will not be going anywhere for a long time, so long as they keep hard at work with their unique ideas and style.

I know I’m not one for graphics when it comes to gaming (an the account that I have a mid-range gaming PC), but you gotta give the concept artists kudos for the style they have as this is probably the most excited I’ve been about a game’s visuals (which is really saying a lot) and with the promise that GW2 will retain much of the similar gameplay elements that it’s older brother drew me in with all those years ago, it would be such a challenge for me to find something to complain about, and I’m just too lazy to bother with challenges. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go farm titles in Guild Wars…on my 4 accounts.
