Well, it’s official. Geocities, free-hosting to some of the most ridiculously broken websites on the entire internet, has left the building. Geocities was the first place I learned about the wonderful world of HTML a long time ago in a far away place known as 6th grade. They were simple times, and they were the best (not really), and while I might be able to give a fitting commemoration, xkcd.com has me covered.
