Alright, so, I’m a frequent over at Kotaku, and I came across this article explaining how Lesley Smith received an email concerning her pre-order of the Fable II Collector’s Edition.
Now, you may not know, but the CE has already been cut down some, taking away the Hobbe figure, five printed cards, and the premium box, due to a “supply chain issue”, but it still had the developer’s diary, soundtrack, and some in-game goodies.
This newest cut, however, takes away the developer’s diary and soundtrack, leaving the Collector’s Edition with the “Making of” feature, and the in-game stuff. So, not only did they shoot themselves in the foot once, but they saw fit to do it again, just for good measure.
I might not know the full details as to why this kind of shit is happening, but I’d be pissed if I’d spent an extra ten bucks for something when I was expecting a hell of a lot more. I mean, really, what the hell? What is going on over at Microsoft and Lionhead that they can not seem to get they’re shit together?
