I was informed about this change when Simon Pegg tweeted about it the other day, he puts it right when he says that it was Vader's silent sacrificed which made the scene all the more powerful. Now it's like a cartoon.

Nooooo!

You even expect a *squelch!* for when the emperor hits the inevitable bottom.

I do worry a bit about the energy change, because energy has always been something which has prevented combat turning into a spam fest. I wasn't a fan of energy potions for the same reason, it allowed a constant stream of skills to be reemed out.

Now, the only thing holding a player back is cooldown.

On the other hand, it means that the only difference between two opponents will be their skill, positioning and ability to play the game. So I guess that's a good thing.

I think peeps forget what Anet is all about as well. I'm pretty sure, following what they have always stated with their games will continue that the only advantage one person would have over another is just playing the game.

It'll all be accessible, and a level playing field especially at the higher levels. The weapons training skills is an aspect that should def be looked at as it is an RPG with MMo, I think it's a great way to add into character development, as well as provide a hands on training of not only the weapon switches but the playstyle itself.

I think the only thing I'm attempting to wrap my head around without complaints just to see how it works is the no energy for skills... yet still have adrenaline/whateverthiefsuse/etc, and the balance between and with it all. Seems cool when reading it but really just want to see how it fans out more than anything as it seems a huge step in a new direction that can easily be applauded.

Even with the game not out though, and 95% of the people that complain of anything... they have never played the game themselves so they really wouldn't know what is going on compared to the developers who play the game daily to test everything out.

The developers really could set up a poll to see if certain aspects of gw2 was to tough or favorable and the majority of pollers would vote that it is... same with forums. {Finalized project hasn't been released but they still don't see that}

I think the thing that will annoy me, as it always has but will carry on like a wayward son is that developers of any game goes to forums for feedback. It's a succubus, as usually forum huggers are too busy loving forums and being on a social cloud with other forum huggers that they aren't playing a game that a multitude of others are enjoying. With that, games are often changed to a radical through the feedback of those who dwell on them.

Well, as I undertand the auction house (AH) fiasco with D3, there will be two types, one for real world cash, the other for in game gold. EXCEPT, I can go to the real world cash AH, buy gold, return the the ingame AH and buy whatever..... I also was so looking forward to this game. I will not pay a monthly fee to play a game. I will not play a game that actually encourages gold farmers, and I don't like the fact that some wealthy players can buy their way to the top.

This is why i love you.

But you're 100% right. I don't really care much about the AH. I think it's smart on blizz's part to avoid account scams. However, I think authenticators should be INCLUDED with D3 no questions asked (but you know they won't be).

The online play thing, though, is also a dealbreaker for me. As much as I loved DII, I was on the fence about DIII. Well, grats, Blizz, you just lost your last chance for the next few years to win me back as a customer. I refuse to be bullied into this bullshit because they want such tight fucking control over their games. Seriously?
Do they realize why SCII failed by proxy in Korea? Shit like this.

People travel a lot with laptops, sometimes we like to play games when internets is not available. Yes, even with the miracles of modern technology, sometimes there just isn't a god-damn wi-fi signal *SHOCK!*, and that seems to be the time I'm most likely to want to play a game.

Whatever.
