  • Blizzard Loves To Make Money, Starcraft 2 Trilogy

So, apparently over at the Starcraft II gameplay panel at good old BlizzCon, Blizzard has announced that Starcraft II’s single player campaign will be split into 3 separate products with the first of the trilogy to focus on the Terrans in Wings of Liberty, followed by the Zerg in Heart of the Swarm, and ending with the Protoss in Legacy of the Void.

Blizzard is promising that each campaign will hold 26-30 missions and each will feel like its own, epic story. Blizzard also stated that each game will not leave in any cliffhangers, and will end in a satisfying way.

I’m still slamming my head on the desk over this. It’s obvious this is just a money-making machine! So many fans will probably be upset about this (such as I), and still Blizzard knows they’ll cave in eventually to buy it. Next thing you know they’ll be announcing special, online-only unit packs for $5 each.

Oh Blizzard, how far you have fallen to the dark side. I shall weep for you.
